Dorchester 3 Welling 2
A 94th minute winner sent Welling tumbling to defeat at play-off chasing Dorchester.
Substitute Warren Byerley nodded in from close range after Mark Jermyn’s 20-yard shot had come back off the post.
The home side had earlier taken a 33rd minute lead when skipper Alex Browne volleyed in a right-wing corner.
But Welling were level six minutes before half-time when Jamie Day produced a goal of the season contender to score with a left-footed shot from 25 yards.
Welling looked to be heading for another away win on 69 minutes when Chris Moore turned the ball home from close range.
However, Dorchester, who still hold ambitions of promotion, levelled with 12 minutes left when Jermyn headed in a right-wing cross.
Welling substitute Onome Sodje could have put his side ahead seconds after coming on but he fired wide after rounding home keeper Craig Bradshaw.
And it was left to Byerley to have the last word.
