Maidenhead 2 Bromley 3

A SAM Wood strike earned Bromley all three points after they had lost a two goal lead at lowly Maidenhead.

The in-form Garath McCleary put the Lillywhites ahead with his sixth of the season before Francis Duku doubled the score.

But Maidenhead, who Bromley had dumped out of the Setanta Shield last week, recovered and were back on level terms at half-time courtesy of goals from Emmanuel Williams and Dwane Lee.

Wood restored Bromley's lead seven minutes after the break, and they subsequently held on for the victory.

The win moves them to seventh in Blue Square South, but just one point behind Newport County in third.
