A Rower from Ashford has announced his retirement after the Olympics were delayed for a year because of coronavirus.Tom Ransley was hoping to defend his Gold medal in the eight man boat this summer. At 34 years old, he felt it was time to hang up his oar after more than a decade with team GB, but admits the postponement of the games accelerated his decision.
