The Kent police force has received record numbers of applications for new officers.Kent's Police and Crime Commissioner, Matthew Scott, confirmed that his current recruitment drive to get 200 new officers signed up has seen triple the amount of applicants compared with previous years.It comes after crime rates in the county increased at a higher rate than London in 2017.
