A TRIP to the cinema will come in a whole new dimension after the installation of a 3D screen.
Odeon in Lockmeadow, Maidstone, is one of 19 across the country to have installed digital 3D screens.
Cinemagoers, armed with their 3D glasses will be able to watch a range of releases this year, the first of which will be Disney’s Bolt, from next Friday.
The hotly anticipated canine caper promises to be a fun-packed animation combining advanced digital 3D imagery and surround sound.
General manager Christian Webber said: “The team at Odeon Maidstone is thrilled to be bringing a truly massive 3D cinema experience to Maidstone.
“With 2009 promising to be such an exciting year for 3D film, we can’t wait for local film fans to experience the state-of-the-art technology for themselves and enjoy this year’s biggest blockbusters in the highest quality possible.”
