Blackpool Tower Ballroom is the
setting for Saturday night’s Strictly Come Dancing, so we’ve chosen
to introduce the basics of an elegant waltz.

In the latest of the Kent
Messenger’s Strictly web classes, Maidstone-based dance teacher
Margaret Preedy demonstrates the moves of a Viennese Waltz for you
to try at home.

Nine remaining couples on the BBC1
show will be performing either a ballroom or latin dance at the
iconic Blackpool venue.

Last week Margaret’s former pupil
and professional dancer James Jordan, left the Strictly
competition. He and celebrity partner, Footballers’ Wives actress
Zoe Lucker, lost the dance-off against The Bill actress Ali Bastian
and her partner Brian Fortuna.
