A motorcyclist was injured in a road accident in Tovil this afternoon.

The crash happened at around 3pm on Farleigh Hill, at its junction with Straw Mill, and involved a motorbike and a van.

Police said the accident involved a van and a motoribike.

The air ambulance landed close to the scene and the bike rider was taken to the Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury.

His condition is not believed to be life threatening, but he has suffered leg, spine and hip injuries.

Ambulance crews and police were on scene and the road was closed while the emergency was being dealt with.
