Tailbacks on the A249 are starting to ease after an earlier crash was cleared.
The Sheerness-bound carriageway was closed at the Stockbury roundabout, shortly after 5am this morning (Tuesday, October 5), after two foreign-registered lorries and a British-registered lorry were involved in a collision.
The incident, which happened near Bobbing, caused long delays on the M2 and back towards Maidstone.
Police reopened the road at 7.45am.
The driver of the UK-registered lorry was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Nobody else was injured in the collision.
The cause of the crash is as yet unknown.
