Rush hour traffic was delayed on Friday evening when one of the town's busiest town centre roads was closed following an accident.

The accident on the Tonbridge Road, close to its junction with London Road, involved a car and a bicycle, and happened at around 3pm.

One person was injured, although it is not thought seriously.

A section of Tonbridge Road was closed until 5.30pm.
