A car that hit the central reservation forced authorities to briefly close a short stretch of the M20.

The accident caused delays on the coast-bound stretch between junction 3 (Sevenoaks) and junction 4 (Leybourne) at 1.30pm.

The car were moved to the hard shoulder at about 2pm allowing traffic to pass through.

There were no reports of any injuries.
