Kent Police closed Armstrong Road to traffic and reduced Loose Road to one lane last night following a traffic accident.

They were called to the scene along with paramedics at 8.25pm, where a car had been in collision with a motorbike.

South East Coast Ambulance Service said no-one was seriously injured in the accident, although one of the parties was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital for treatment.

It is not know whether they were the person riding the motorbike or the driver of the car.

The motorbike was badly damaged in the collision.

The incident occurred at Loose Road traffic lights, where it meets with Armstrong Road and police officers were seen clearing debris from the road at about 9.45pm.
