A two-car crash on the London-bound M20 partially blocked traffic this afternoon (Thursday).

Traffic is thought to be coping well following the collision, which happened at around 3.30pm between junction seven for Maidstone/Detling Hill and junction six for Maidstone/Blue Bell Hill.

The accident has been moved to the side of the road, with Kent Police currently at the scene.

A spokesperson from Kent Police said: "We were called at 3.30pm on Thursday regarding a collision involving two cars on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 between junctions 7 and 6.

"Officers are currently at the scene dealing with the incident.
