The air ambulance landed in Maidstone
Two town centre roads in Maidstone were partially closed after a man collapsed in a car park this morning.
The man is thought to have had a cardiac arrest and ambulance crews treated him at the scene in the Fremlin car park in Earl Street.
The Kent Air Ambulance also landed in Fairmeadow to take the man for further treatment.
Fremlin Walk centre manager Lloyd Wright said: "We can confirm that a member of the public was taken ill in the Fremlin Walk car park this morning. First responders from the centre's team were swiftly on hand to supply first aid before the emergency services arrived. The situation is ongoing."
Police were in Earl Street controlling the traffic and two lanes of Fairmeadow were closed to allow room for the air ambulance. The roads have now been reopened.
