The air ambulance has landed on a village green and police and medics are at the scene of an ongoing medical incident.

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance landed at around 12.30pm on Bearsted Green.

Medics were seen to be going in the direction of Yeoman Lane and Ashford Road.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "At around 12.40pm officers attended The Green at Bearsted where they conveyed paramedics from the air ambulance to a medical incident in the area."

SECAmb were unable to provide any more information as the incident took place at a private address.
