The air ambulance was spotted in Maidstone this afternoon.

It was seen near the Travelodge on St Peter's Street at around 1.30pm.

It is thought to have landed in Cornwallis Playground, off Tonbridge Road, to help a woman living in a block of flats nearby.

Ambulance crews were also sent to the scene.

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance confirmed that they were responding to an incident in the town.
