Police were called to an assault at the House of Fraser store in Fremlin Walk.

Officers went to the department store at 5pm after reports a man was being abusive.

It was reported that the man had assaulted two members of staff and had also caused damage to the store.

Officers arrested a 24-year-old man of no fixed address.

He remains in police custody.

No serious injuries were reported by those involved.
