Police have sealed off an area around the lake in Mote Park, Maidstone, while they investigate claims of a sexual assault in the early hours of this morning.

Three vehicles are currently at the scene after Kent Police received a call from a distressed woman in her 20s at around 2.15am.

A police spokesman said: "It's early days and we are still establishing exactly what happened."
