A town centre will welcome an American restaurant and bar as the chain opens its second diner in Kent.
Maidstone is set to get a true slice of Americana when family-owned Hancock's opens its newest outlet in Earl Street later this month.
The new restaurant will be the third outlet for the growing Hancock's American Kitchen and Bar chain, which already has diners open in Chatham and Camberley.
Creating 20 full and part-time jobs, the new Hancock’s American Kitchen and Bar will have seating for 130 guests and promises to bring something a real American vibe to the area.
Director David Chick said: “What Hancock’s represents is a bright place with fab food and fun surroundings where cocktails flow and everyone’s welcome.
"Our menu takes its inspiration from the best on offer Stateside so features, amongst other things, chicken and ribs smoked on site, steaks, a Dirty Dogs selection, gumbo and fajitas.
"We’re not exclusively a ‘meat lover’s paradise’ though - our range of vegetarian options is also extensive.
“Customers in Maidstone will set Hancock’s music policy because by using our app, they can select their favourite tunes as they dine and from experience in our other outlets, this makes for an even more upbeat mood in the restaurant.
"And as a family owned business, catering to all age groups is very important to us so, we will be offering a wide ranging, tasty menu, which come with free goodie bags for the little ones."
Hancock’s American Kitchen and Bar is scheduled to officially open at 58, Earl Street on Saturday, September 15.
