A crash closed a busy crossroads on the Sutton Road in Maidstone.

The vehicles collided on the Five Wents crossing, in Langley, at about 7.40am.

Emergency services were seen travelling to the scene near The Plough pub.

Kent Highways closed the route until the wreckage was cleared at 9.15am but heavy delays remain in the area.
