A 12-year-old girl has been reported missing from Maidstone.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of Sorayah Barlow, who was last seen at around 7pm yesterday.

She is described as being five feet and four inches, of slim build and with long brown hair.

When she was last seen, Sorayah was wearing a cream hooded top, black leggings and white trainers.

Inspector Vicki Withnall said: "Sorayah left home on foot and we are concerned for her welfare. It is thought she was heading towards Maidstone town centre and we are urging anybody who sees her or knows where she might be to contact us."
