Kent Police find £500,000 of cocaine in East Farleigh, Maidstone

More than £500,000 of cocaine has been seized by police.

Officers made the discovery while carrying out a search warrant at business premises near Maidstone.

Police found six kilos of cocaine

The investigation was carried out yesterday in Lower Road, East Farleigh by detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

Andrew Mackie of Lancet Lane, Maidstone was arrested and charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

Mackie, 52, was remanded by Medway Magistrates’ Court today, and is due to appear at a hearing before Maidstone Crown Court, on Friday, September 27.

A 34-year-old man from Snodland was also arrested in connection with drug supply and was bailed to return to the police station on Sunday, September 29.
