Justin Miah believes this carp may be a record-breaker

There's something fishy going on in the Medway.

Two giant mirror carp have been caught within a week of each other in the lower reaches of the river between Allington and East Farleigh.

Justin Miah from Maidstone, hooked a 34.5lb carp which he believes could be the biggest ever caught in the area.

The following week friend Luke Nichollson looked to have beaten him, but the fish obviously had obviously skipped lunch and only weighed in at 34lbs.
