Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance called to Mote Park, in Willow Way, Maidstone, after a call left them concerned for a man's well being

The air ambulance was called to Mote Park after a call left emergency services concerned about the welfare of a man.

Two road ambulances were also sent at about 5.30pm yesterday fearing a medical emergency.

Once they were at the scene however the adult male was not as seriously ill as feared.

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance

A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said: “When the crews arrived the patient was not as unwell as we had been led to believe.

“He was taken to Maidstone Hospital by road ambulance. We responded to the information we were given by the call.”

They added that the man’s condition is not thought to be life threatening.
