A man was punched and kicked in the head during a violent alleyway robbery.

The attack took place in the passage next to Strawberry Moons nightclub on Gabriel's Hill, Maidstone.

The victim was set upon by three men who stole his wallet.

He was left needing hospital treatment for facial injuries.

The robbery happened at around 3am on Sunday.

Police are continuing to investigate, including reviewing any possible CCTV.
