Appeal after street attacks

POLICE are appealing for information after two robberies in London Road in Maidstone.

The first took place outside the Mughal Dynasty restaurant at 3am on September 21. A car pulled alongside a 20-year-old man who was walking home with friends.

Four men got out, threatened the man and punched him before stealing his mobile phone and driving off.

The man who punched the victim is described as aged between 17 and 20, 6ft 1in, and fat. He was wearing a dark blue hooded top and a baseball cap.

The second robbery happened the following day at around 2am. A man walking alone was approached by two men who demanded money. When he refused he was punched in the head before the men ran off.

The attackers are described as white. One was 5ft 10in, wearing a red top and dark trousers. The other was 6ft with dark hair and dark clothes.
