Police appeal after woman pushed to ground in Clare Park in Tonbridge Road, Maidstone

An image has been released of a man police want to speak to after a woman was reportedly attacked in a park.

It is alleged a man tried to snatch a phone from the hands of the victim in Clare Park, off Tonbridge Road, Maidstone at around 1.30pm on Sunday, March 10.

She is believed to have been pushed to the ground but kicked out at the attacker while on the floor.

The suspect then fled empty handed.

A computer-generated image has since been released by police.

The man is described as around 5ft 10in and was wearing a hooded top.

He also has a tattoo on the top part of his hand of a rose with very detailed green leaves.

Residents with doorbell cameras and CCTV are being asked to check for any footage which may assist the investigation.
