A man has been arrested after a fight broke out outside KFC.

Officers were called to chicken takeaway in Week Street, Maidstone, at around 1.35pm today.

Paramedics were also in an attendance and a man was found with a head injury, but he didn’t need to be taken to hospital for further medical attention.

Police arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of assault and he was taken into custody.

One witness who saw the fight said: "I saw loads of police. These guys are always fighting in the street."

Just last week, a woman was arrested after an altercation with a group of children outside the same restaurant.

During the incident, close to Brenchley Gardens, a woman in a pink tank top picks up the bike and begins to lift it over her shoulders before a boy dressed in black grabs it from her – a fight then breaks out.
