Police hunting a man who allegedly snatched rings worth thousands of pounds from a shop worker’s hand have made an arrest.

It happened at Goldsmiths in Fremlin Walk, Maidstone, at around 9.45am last Thursday, and led to a chase involving police and security guards through the town centre.

The alleged thief was said to have run into King Street before disappearing.
