A shopping centre will host a series of autism-friendly Christmas meet and greets.

Fremlin Walk, in Maidstone, is providing families the chance to get up close and personal with Father Christmas in a calming, relaxing environment.

The free autism-friendly sessions offer children the opportunity to enter the shopping centre's Christmas Cabin near House of Fraser where they will enjoy listening to magical stories.

There won't be any queues, with low lighting and no loud music.

Those interested in making use of the service, tailor made for children with autism, which will take place at 11am on December 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24, must pre-order tickets via the centre's booking form.
