Drivers told to leave extra time before heading into Maidstone due to traffic on Fairmeadow, Sittingbourne Road and the one-way system

Drivers heading into Maidstone are advised to leave extra time for their journeys as there is slow traffic all around the town centre’s main roads.

Drivers using the one-way system are experiencing delays in excess of 25 minutes and there is slow moving traffic on Fairmeadow.

Sittingbourne road is also congested with traffic stretching as far back as the A249 (Detling Hill).
