A beauty and tanning salon has been put on the market for a quarter of a million pounds after being slapped with a forfeiture notice.

After its sudden closure last month, Glamour & Glow in Maidstone is up for sale.

The beauty shop, at the junction of Holland Road and Hedley Street, was used as a salon on the ground floor and has accommodation on the first floor.

A notice on the front door said items owned by the leaseholder of the property were being held inside after landlord Roger Bettle entered in July.

The salon offered sunbeds, hair and makeup, lashes and brows, nails, pedicures, botox and fillers, and skin treatments when it was open.

The 926 sq ft site is being sold for £250,000 by Sibley Pares.
