SMOKE and flames destroyed a first floor bedroom of a house in Camp Way, Mangravet, Maidstone, at the weekend.

Two pumps from Maidstone Fire Station tackled the blaze at the semi-detached property.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No-one was hurt.
