A hit TV talent show has been forced to change venue for it's auditions in Kent.

The Mall in Maidstone was set to be full of budding performers looking for a chance to appear on next year's Britain's Got Talent.

Britain's Got Talent auditions were due to be held at The Mall, Maidstone

But organisers have been forced to re-locate to the Hazlitt Theatre.

The ITV programme offers the winner £250,000 and a performance slot at the Royal Variety Show.

It has seen the likes of Scottish singer Susan Boyle, opera performer Paul Potts, dance troupe Diversity and dog act Ashley and Pudsey take to the stage.

Last year, Lee Ridley, better known by his stage name Lost Voice Guy, took the winning spot for his stand up act.

Earlier this year Colin Thackery, an English Korean War veteran and singer, was crowned the thirteenth winner.

Auditions have previously been held at the Hazlitt Theatre

The Mall has also been contacted for comment.
