The body of a man has been found in a public toilet.

The grim discovery of a man, believed to be 31, was made at around 2.20pm yesterday in toilets near a parade of shops in Wallis Avenue, Maidstone.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

An inquest is expected to be opened in the next few days after a post mortem examination has been carried out.
