Boxing Day search for missing Pat Lamb last seen at Bar Chocolate in Maidstone

Family and friends of missing Pat Lamb will spend Boxing Day continuing their search.

They will target villages and wooded areas north of Maidstone town centre including Sandling, Boxley, Detling and the Royal British Legion Village in Aylesford.

The 28-year-old has not been seen since he disappeared in Maidstone overnight on Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13.

Pat Lamb has been missing for nearly two weeks

Mr Lamb's loved ones were out on Christmas Day searching for him but their efforts sadly proved to be fruitless.

Their focus was on Borstal Forte and north of Cuxton.

His girlfriend Natasha Morgan, her parents and twin sister also searched parts of the town as the hunt for the missing 5ft 7in Greenhithe man.

A mass search was also carried out on Christmas Eve.

Family members, friends and even strangers came together to search the Blue Bell Hill area.

In a post on a Facebook page set up to find Pat his family thanked the kindness and support of those who joined them.

Pat's sister, Zoe Lamb, posted a message appealing for her brother to come home last night, it read: "Pat Lamb, if there's ever a time to decide to come home, today or tomorrow would be a good'un. Everyone has been out searching since you didn't come home and we will continue until you are found."

Learning of the family's Christmas Day search, dozens of people posted on Facebook saying they would keep an eye out for Pat.

Natasha also posted an emotional message on Facebook this morning, it read: "Please Puddy where ever you are I hope I get you back soon safe and alive and that we can celebrate Christmas just slightly late I love you so much and I am searching for you today.

"Your mum is at the house if you can read this if you make your way back, I love you so much and wish we could snuggle right now xx."

The broadcast engineer's whereabouts remain the centre of a major search involving Kent Police, Kent Search and Rescue, family, friends and even strangers.

This week the last known CCTV image of Pat from the night he went missing was released.

The grainy still shows him walking down High Street towards Pudding Lane just before midnight on Friday, December 12, just past Royal Star Arcade.

Pat’s 65-year-old father Tony, from Greenhithe, has urged families out over Christmas to keep an eye out for his son.

He said: “Obviously it’s going to be a very harrowing time over the next few days."

He stressed that several members of the family would be returning to the town today to resume the search.

He added: “My ultimate fear is that Pat has fallen into the river. We can only hope for the best but fear the worst.”

"Pat is known to have bought a Subway on Gabriels Hill, which suggests he was ready to go home."

This week Natasha released an emotional video appealing for her boyfriend to come home.

Kent Police confirmed officers are continuing to search for him and are investigating potential CCTV.

A spokesman said: "Kent Police remains in contact with his family, who will be updated in the event of any developments."

Searchers are not just looking for Mr Lamb, they are also looking for any of his possessions that may have been dropped or left behind.
