Maidstone town centre is echoing to the thunderous drumming of Bloco Fogo this morning.

The Samba drumming group is literally seeking to drum up new members.

Anyone interested in trying the energetic music from Brazil can join a beginners' workshop starting on Sunday, October 11, and lasting for 12 weeks.

The training sessions will be held in Maidstone from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and the first two weeks are free. It's £80 for the next 10 weeks.
