Burglar alarm of Roy Robson Store, in Maidstone High Street, heard throughout the town centre

The burglar alarm of a shop that has been hit with a forfeiture notice could be heard throughout Maidstone this afternoon.

The Roy Robson store, in the High Street, was hit with the notice yesterday (July 22) by Rapsole Limited, the owner of the premises.

A letter on the door states that the business’ lease has been forfeited making it illegal for anyone to enter the building without authoristation from business owner.

The shop's alarm went off at about 1.20pm and stopped at 1.35pm.

Wallace LLP have been informed but no one was available for comment.
