Two keys roads have been closed simultaneously for carriageway repairs.

Boxley Road and Lidsing Road, which link Maidstone to Gillingham, are being closed overnight to through traffic from 8pm till 5am from today until Friday.

The closures, between Sandling Lane at Penenden Heath and Westfield Sole Road near, the Harrow pub at Lidsing, will allow resurfacing work to be carried out.

The alternative route is via Sandling Lane, Running Horse Roundabout, A229 Sandling Interchange, Cobtree Roundabout, A229 Chatham Road, A229 Blue Bell Hill, Lord Lees Roundabout, Taddington Roundabout, Walderslade Woods, Westfield Sole Road, Lidsing Road and vice versa.
