Schools and workplaces across the country are holding Children in Need events today, and our area is no different.

People dressed up, baked cakes and created works of art to raise cash for disadvantaged youngsters in the UK.

Our photographers have been out and about taking pictures of as many events as possible.

Coffee, cakes and fancy dress were on the menu at hairdressers Cut Above in Headcorn High Street, including an impressive, edible replica of Pudsey, the BBC charity's teddy bear mascot.
