A crash has blocked traffic on Blue Bell Hill this afternoon.

One lane is blocked on the southbound carriageway, for traffic heading towards Maidstone and the M20.

The crash is causing further headaches for motorists after the London-bound M2 was closed after Junction 3 for Blue Bell Hill earlier today.

Police and paramedics were called to Blue Bell Hill.

A spokesman from Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at 2.30pm to a two vehicle collision on Blue Bell Hill, Maidstone-bound.

"No serious injuries have been reported and recovery for both vehicles has been arranged."
