A crash has blocked a lane on the A249 Detling Hill.

The collision happened just before 4.30pm near to the roundabout for Junction 7 of the M20.

A white Suzuki Swift and a black Range Rover were involved in the incident.

The Highways Agency and Kent Police were both been called to the scene on the Maidstone-bound carriageway.

Both vehicles have been moved onto the grass verge. No injuries were reported.

Drivers are warned to expect delays and to approach the area with caution until congestion has cleared.
