Drivers faced delays on the M20 following a crash near Lenham this afternoon.

National Highways said one lane was closed eastbound between Junction 8 at Maidstone and Junction 9 at Ashford to allow for 'complex recovery of a vehicle', following a crash just before 3.45pm.

There were delays of 25 minutes and around 3 miles of congestion on approach to the lane closure.

All lanes were reported to be reopened at 5.40pm

Kent Police have been approached for further information.
