Motorists faced delays on the M20 this morning after a crash near the London-bound slip-road at Aylesford.

The crash happened at about 6.45am when two cars collided between Junctions 6 and 5.

No one was injured during the smash, but police were sent to the help manage the traffic.

Highways officers were reporting traffic was slow in the area leading to the A20 in Aylesford.

A spokesman for police, said: “Kent Police was called at 6.44am following a two-car collision on the M20 London-bound between Junctions 6 and 5.

“Officers attended to ensure the safety of other road-users and no injuries were reported. The carriageway is now clear.”
