Two dogs rescued from mobile home fire on Gravelly Bottom Road, Kingswood, near Maidstone

Emergency teams rescued two pet dogs after a blaze in a mobile home this morning.

The pets were saved by police at the blaze on Gravelly Bottom Road, in Kingswood, near Maidstone, which completely destroyed the property.

Fire crews were called to the fire in the early hours

Firefighters were called out at around 4am.

Two fire engines were sent out and crews tackled the flames wearing breathing apparatus.

They left the scene at 6am but were unable to save the mobile home.

There are no reports of any injuries and the cause has not been established.

Police officers took the dogs to an emergency vet.
