Police Officers have used a boat to recover suspected drugs thrown into the river Medway at Maidstone.

Three men and a teenager were arrested at 12.30pm on Tuesday, October 17, when officers spotted them acting suspiciously on the towpath near St Peter Street.

A plastic bag believed to contain cocaine was seen to be thrown into the river, however, it failed to sink and the officers borrowed a nearby boat to recover it.
