Global superstar Sir Elton John has flown into a Kent town this evening.
The singer, songwriter and pianist, known for hits such as Rocket Man, Your Song and Tiny Dancer, landed at Maidstone Studios this evening.
He is believed to have dropped in to take part in BBC Two show Later... with Jools Holland.
A small crowd gathered as his aircraft touched down at the studios, in New Cut Road, where other programmes including dating show Take Me Out, quiz show Catchphrase and a number of children's favourites have been filmed over the years.
The star, dressed casually, then headed inside with his team.
Sir Elton is no stranger to the county having performed just up the road at the Kent County Showground, Detling, last year and at Kent County Cricket Club, Canterbury, in 2006.
Jools is also a Kent man and lives in Cooling in Medway.
Other stars who have appeared on episodes of Mr Holland's show filmed in Maidstone include Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, U2 and Kent band Slaves.
