Replacement buses to run between Paddock Wood and Maidstone East after tree falls near Wateringbury

Rail commuters are facing disruption after a tree fell on the tracks.

Trains were unable to run between Paddock Wood and Maidstone East for nearly two hours due to the incident near Wateringbury.

It happened at around 3.15pm.

Southeastern said the line reopened at around 5.20pm, but services be delayed or revised whilst they return to normal.
