Crews were called to a kitchen fire in Cranbrook this morning.

The blaze broke out at a house in Wheatfields Way at about 8.20am.

The fire, the cause of which is as yet unknown, was extinguished by 8.40am.

One woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
