A vehicle suspected to be used for fly-tipping was seized by officers less than 24 hours after rubbish was dumped.
The fly-tipping happened in Boxley yesterday at 6am and by 8pm Maidstone Borough Council's (MBC) waste crime team seized the van suspected to be used.
Working with the Kent Police Rural Task Force, council officers tracked down the vehicle.
Jamie Duffy, the council's waste crime manager said: “It doesn’t matter what time of the day or night these offences happen, we will take action against fly-tippers."
The waste crime team monitors the borough for incidents using CCTV and officer patrols.
