Gardening enthusiasts had a blooming good time at the recent flower show hosted by the Maidstone Horticultural Society.
A colourful display of flowers, including dahlias, chrysanthemums, roses and more were on display at St Nicholas Church Hall, in Poplar Grove, Allington, with green-fingered visitors showcasing their best gardening efforts.
Mrs Nikki Gough stole the show with her prize-winning dahlias.
A range of impressive fruits and vegetables from around Maidstone were also exhibited, including a large onion which saw Mr Roger Simmons win Best in Show of the vegetable classes.
And it wasn't just gardening skills that were put to the test, 10-year-old Hollie-Grace Gough, won a first place certificate for her beautifully iced biscuits.
The younger visitors were treats to craft and cookery classes as well as floral art and photography.
Those who attended enjoyed some home-made cakes while representatives from the society were offering gardening advice.
The Maidstone Horticultural Society hosts events throughout the year, including a spring show.
